Snowy Monaro Regional Council asked the public to put in mind that council staff and appointed community representatives are incapable to receive present or interest on account of their official positions. General manager, Joe Vescio inform that he wish the people should show their appreciation to council representatives they should progress official thanks and heartening comments. (The Snowy Monaro Regional Council) is a local government area situated in the Snowy Mountains and Monaro regions of New South Wales, Australia. The council was formed on 12 May 2016 through a merger of the Bombala, Cooma-Monaro and Snowy River shires. The council consist of an area of 15,162 square kilometres and occupies the higher slopes of the eastern side of the Great Dividing Range between the Australian Capital Territory to the north and the state boundary with Victoria to the south. In the exact time of its establishment the council had an estimated population of 20,707. The Administrator of the Snowy Monaro Regional Council is Dean Lynch, until the elections for councillors will happen on 9 September 2017.
